Taking a survey about whether this happens to any other women?

When your husband ejaculates inside of you, does it burn a little while later? I've heard these are symptoms of a sperm allergy, but I'm not willing to believe I have one since they're rare. It doesn't EVER happen when we use condoms. It just happens when he ejaculates inside me. The more frequently he does it, the less it burns. But it hurts for like an hour afterwards. Anyone else? There are no STDs on either side...he was a virgin when we married and I get regular annual exams.

I know you aren't willing to believe it's a sperm allergy, but you sound like a classic case of it according to my college "human sexuality" textbook. Make sure he doesn't put any lotion or anything like that on his penis, that could cause it too. That really must be rough to be in pain if your husband ejaculates in you! Poor you! Good luck...
Reply:sperm allergies are very rare, but they can happen, especially when a woman has a history of anal sex. If you want to test it, try taking some ejaculate and put it somewhere on your skin. If you have a rash afterward, then it's a good chance you have an allergy. You'll have to visit a physician to determine what to do to treat it. Maybe something as simple as benedryl will help. The main concern is being able to get pregnant down the road.
Reply:In a man,pre-ejaculate is slightly acidic;reason is to destroy any pathogens in the urethra that may damage sperm cells.Best guess is that your husband has a large amount of pre-ejaculate.Easy way to confirm is with fertility test for him.(masturbates into a sample container) and measure the volume of pre-ejaculate.You will in time develop a tolerance to the reaction.
Reply:Yes...you may have a slight reaction to him. And the reason why is burns less the more he does is because you're building an immunity to it. Like with allergy shots...the person (I had them for years) is actually being injected with what they are allegeric to (cat dander for example) in order to build up an immunity to it.
Reply:The only time that bothered me is if I was already irritated down there (then anything touching it stung).

Go ahead and have your doc check it out so you'll know what the issue is. Not wanting it to be an allergy doesn't mean that's not what it is...or it may be something more serious that needs to be treated (in you or him).

Take care of yourselves!
Reply:Sounds like a sperm allergy...I had the same thing with my first husband...NOT as rare as you think!

Talk to your Dr...there are things you can do to help it...

Only your Dr can advise you on the best way to treat or overcome this...you'll be surprised at how common this really is...
Reply:You may have a sperm allergy, or something he is eating could be bothering you down there. Either way, talk to your doctor. That doesn't happen to me when my boyfriend cums inside of me, so I'm not really sure what to tell you. : )
Reply:'my sperms are on fire!!!!!'

ahem, sorry.

i thought my ex wife was BS-ing when she said that it burns.... then she was allergic to latex.. then i found out she was just allergic to me.

female condoms?

how does female condoms work?
Reply:Nope, never had it happen. You need to see your OBGYN. Just because a sperm allergy is rare doesn't mean that you're not the one that is going to have it.
Reply:i would go a nd have it check out and tell your doctor the symptims and let him tell you what the problem might bean don't you just be guessing on it
Reply:no it don't happen to me and yes it is a sperm allergie u are alergic to his sperm but they do have medacine for it
Reply:It shouldn't burn. You really need to discuss this with your OB-

GYN. That way you can get excellent advise and some help avoiding the burning sensation.
Reply:Only sometimes. Not sure what it is. Sometimes it REALLY burns though. Other times it feels totally fine.
Reply:to put your mind at ease why don't you ask your gynae. Get the answer from the professional/specialist%26gt; good luck and take care.
Reply:No, It's warm but it doesn't burn. I can't imagine that it's an allergic reaction, that seems too strange. Maybe it's something he's eating?
Reply:I have never experienced that with any man I have ever been with.

You poor thing.
Reply:It has happened to me when my husband eats spicy foods.
Reply:Hi no that doesn't happen to me. Maybe you should talk to your GYN....next time you're in the office.
