Survey: What works for you when you need to deal with the pain of missing someone you care about?

I'm talking about a relationship with someone special that's still going strong, not one that's ended. Only thing is I miss him.

Survey: What works for you when you need to deal with the pain of missing someone you care about?
I think of happy thoughts of her and what our future brings. I do that all the time. In the meantime i keep myself busy with my personal projects. It's all i can do to keep me going through the agonising wait to be with her.

drink a LOT of water





listen to your fav. type of relaxing/mellow/monotonous music





go pee, and look up and the ceiling, thinking about memories you had with the person (but...make sure you can still aim. ;))





go to your room (or empty room) and lay on your stomach, squeezng the stuffing out of a stuffed animal





dirnk more water, and think about other things
Reply:i talk on the phone with my man every night before i go to sleep for at least 2 hours. that way i'm always happy when i fall asleep. whenever i miss him at school, i listen to my ipod. i have play list on it full of songs that make me smile just listening to them. write poetry- even though most of it will end up sad, it helps. whenever we are together i absolutely love it. i count down the days until i see him next, and gets so excited when i realize its one day less to us seeing each other.
Reply:Call or write and if you can't do that then email or send a text message. If you can't do any of those things. Just write a letter to that particular person and hold on to it at least you have written your feelings down and it will help because you were able to get them out.

well anywhoo i just think that like if they had cancer that there not suffering anymore. or like there in a better place ( if they were a good person)

I found that physical activity passes time the best.


It feels good, keeps your attention, and passes time.
