MIDDLE SCHOOL'ers - I have a survey question about your schedule?

. What kind of scheduling do you follow at your school: traditional (the same classes everyday), block (classes meet every other day), or other? How do you like this schedule? Do you change classrooms for every subject?

MIDDLE SCHOOL'ers - I have a survey question about your schedule?
my school has blocks...I think that they are very annoying and confusing...we change classrooms for every single subject
Reply:Last year when I was in middle school, I had a standard schedule, e.g., the same classes everyday. However, 2 years before that, I had a block schedule, and it was annoying as f-u-c-k. Seriously, who's s-h-i-t-t-y idea was block scheduling, anyways? I really CANNOT think of anything good that can come out of it, and the only thing that CAN come out of it is you being tardy for your class because you forgot "Oh, I'm supposed to have this class first today." And it doesn't help that they did things like "Tardy Lockouts" where they lock the doors on tardy students and send them to the Dean's Office, giving them detention or whatever other sick punishment they could come up with for their own f-a-g-g-ity screwed up way of doing things.
Reply:When I was in middle school we had the same classes everyday and switched classrooms and teachers for each subject.
Reply:we have block schedule in my school so we have the same class every one day.
Reply:well when i was in middle school, my schedule was a week long...so we had different lineups of classes every week but every monday we had the same classes then every tuesday we had the same classes etc.

and i liked it that way, it gave variety
Reply:My classes are every other day and not traditional it sucks.
Reply:Hello.

Well im in highschool. but last year when i attended middle school, i had traditional.. we all had to take math, science, social studies, language arts, physical education and an elective of our choice..........i went to John Muir Middle School in San Jose California

every middle/highschool in my district follows the traditional schedual. And i personally would like the block better becuase it gives us more time to get our homework and studies done before we have to turn it in or have quiz's or tests.

Hope this helps =]
Reply:I'm in high school, but:

Block schedule.

Nobody likes it, the classes are too long.

Easy classes are every other day, the core classes are every day.
