What is an example of a conclusion that a person might reach about this survey described in a representative s

In a representative sample. If a music producer conducts a survey around video games and wants to know what college students think of poular music. He conducts the survey in the area of the student union, what is the example of a conclusion the producer might reach based on this survey that might not be true about college students in general

What is an example of a conclusion that a person might reach about this survey described in a representative s
The survey is probably not going to be a simple random sample. The sampling method you are describing would probably best be desribed as a convenience sample. Students who do not frequent the student union would not be represented. If we only ask students who GO to the student union about their thoughts on video games, we won't adequately represent ALL students, including "bookworms" (who are studying in the library) or "commuters" (who go home at night) or "off-campus students". Perhaps we are conducting the survey on a day when there is an impromptu reggae band playing in the student union. We might conclude, then, that ALL college students like reggae music when in fact, the students included in the survey were coming to the student union specifically to SEE the reggae band.

Reply:A lion and a Norse wolf

Lion is on left thigh, wolf on right thigh

lion 11 inches by 7 inches

wolf 9 inches by 5 inches

Lion represents family, protect the family at all costs and nobility

Wolf represents individuality, it is also a Norse God, Fenrir, who broke free from Odin's captivity and then devoured the sun and the moon.

Lion is black and gray, wolf is color, to represent balance.

The first two hours were annoying, but after that it started to hurt, Lion took 3 hours, Wolf took 4... never doing 4 again.

Survey: I'm thinking about opening a new theme park, Homeless World?

The idea is to get a better understanding of what the domicile challenged go through. What kinds of rides and attractions should I have?

Survey: I'm thinking about opening a new theme park, Homeless World?
Jeepers, Papa, I could spend all weekend drawing this out on poster board. I just might.

Admission should be pro-rated, kinda like taxes. That means that people who are wealthier should pay less, and shouldn't have to pay taxes on any purchases they make within. The loss of revenue will be recovered by over-charging the poor, and by heavily taxing the middle class.

I should think there could be a roller coaster-type ride, but it should be in the shape of a city bus, and it should smell kinda funny - like old doughnuts and urine. And the bus will frequently get stuck in "traffic jams" and occasionally even break down. Maybe you could hire a mascot to sit in the back and shout scripture mixed in with commercial slogans. "AND GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THE GIFT OF ENZYTE NATURAL MALE ENHANCEMENT!"

I'd love to see a ferris wheel sort of thing, but the only thing that makes it go around is a repetitive activity in each booth. Like one would be running a license plate stamp, another would be stitching a straight line down a swatch of denim, another would be pressing a button to inject silicone into an implant, and another would be painting the same pair of eyes on cheap, poly-resin figurines to be sold exclusively through Avon. You kinda get the point, oui? And every time the wheel goes around, a tinny Saltine-box speaker plays Happy Birthday to remind the riders the ferris wheel is much a reflection of their repetitive, endless lives.

You could have a Hall of Mirrors, except instead of mirrors you get to face the hateful glares of upper-class holographs who jeer and shout things like "GET A JOB PARASITE!!" even though you're given a pretend college diploma as your ticket when you enter the hall.

The food concession stands should be like the foodbank. You don't have to pay for anything, but you have to provide a social assistance stub and photo ID and the names and birth certificates for all your children and you don't really get food anyone would actually want to eat.

You get non-perishable foodsthat look like rejected rations from the Bolivian army. I mean really, just what the hell are creamed lima beans anyway????

The bathrooms would be permanently locked and would have signs on them that read: FOR GAINFULLY EMPLOYED, WELL-GROOMED PEOPLE ONLY. Even there was such a person at the park, the bathrooms remained forever locked, only to be used by priviliged staff members.

There should be a Tent City, where homeless people live and reproduce. And there would be the Home Depot mascot chasing after them with a billy club and a Notice to Vacate sign.

All around the park there should be discarded needles, mounds of garbage (especially paper coffee cups), old socks, empty lighters and burnt spoons, but no cigarette butts because people keep picking them up and trying to smoke them.

There wouldn't be any rest areas, but there would be old couches (sans cushions) scattered here and there. There would be a few park benches, but Park Security would taser anyone caught using them.

The best feature of all: Labour Ready. This would be near the administration offices. This offers park goers a chance to actually work at Homeless World and get paid the same day! Of course, no one actually gets to go to work. And Mr. Henckles, the Homeless World Park Mayor, blames the rising Canadian dollar for this.
Reply:You need a replica of the White House there. I'll never forget the first time I saw the WH up close and personal for the first time. I was standing in line and looked across the street over at the park. I was amazed at all the homeless folk staying over there, some with cardboard boxes and such.

I remember thinking, here is this big house with all these rooms in it, most are never used and right across the street, are homeless people with no place to live or be that must sleep on park benches or on the ground in cardboard boxes among the elements and the elite alike living right across the street in that big old WH. What's wrong with this picture?
Reply:did you see the news where a city has gathered all the homeless to hide them? that made me mad. first attraction should be the gathering of the minds. rides would be dumpster diving and the race to see who gets a bath first at the fountains. then the next attraction should be the one who panhandles the most money wins all the pot. this is fun, but i have been there doing just these things.
Reply:-a ride where you drive a car through shanty town. The car will double as the visitors' lodging for the weekend.

-dumpster diving

-"the rat race" -- guests will have to navigate through a reconstruction of a dirty, dark metropolitan/subway area, while being chased by rats
Reply:Some ole tires on ropes up in a big Elm tree. Nice long waterslide, for bathing of course, gotta have the whip to help dry them., ferris wheel for getting aired out well. LMAO
Reply:I only have a couple of race ideas. 1) Race to the 1st (of the month), and 2) Race to the pawn shop.
Reply:Definitely a naked water ride kinda like a car wash shower thing

SURVEY: How do you feel about Star Gazing?

I don't know what it is, but I feel like everyone just loves to lay and look at the stars. Don't get me wrong- I appreciate them and everything, I just find it hard to sit and lay watching a bunch of glowing dots stationary. Does anyone else not enjoy this?

SURVEY: How do you feel about Star Gazing?
Depends what mood im in and who im with.. of course.

Although, I ocasionally step out and look at the stars.. it is amazing but, im like you i couldnt do it for very long.. Just like looking at a fire, or looking at your eye.. in my opinion "The Eye" is also very amazing.. think.. its like a camera lens better then a camera, its not operated by electronics but by nerves, you can focus on stuff, the pupil changes when you have light or darkness it gets bigger when your excited.. etc etc.. its crazy.
Reply:Try it with a telescope.

Reply:I don't know why i like it so much but I do. I could lay and stare at the stars for hours and be perfectly content.
Reply:I enjoy it. I don't really know why, but I think there is something so mysteriously beautiful and fascinating about the stars.
Reply:Personally I enjoy it, for me it's just like looking at mountains or looking out at the ocean, all nature's beauty. And when you get a really good look at them all it gets you thinking about them and other things that are on your mind. Also that though life has it's ups and downs it still has it's beauty.

Peace!
Reply:i like it, makes me think of how tiny we are.
Reply:i thinks it's fun
Reply:I do enjoy it. Maybe you should get an inexpensive telescope so that you can enjoy them close up.

Survey ~ How do you feel about grown adults who still throw temper tantrums???
Like throwing their toys put of the pram kind of tantrums? They need to go to bed early without any tea.
Reply:Define a "Grown adult" I think the definition is "emotionally repressed by self" A good old temper tantrum is a pure thing that is socially unacceptable.

So in much the same way you have to applaud someone who takes their clothes off at a big sporting event, you have to admire someone who goes against social etiquette and chucks their rattle from the pram ;-)
Reply:u mean only children do that.. all do as a matter of fact to get what they want if they r not getting it in normal way..
Reply:They're hilarious. Good free entertainment for the rest of us. What I can never work out is why are they always the ones who ARE in relationships.
Reply:I think they'll end up having a stroke (like a hateful boss of mine years ago) if its a regular thing with them.
Reply:your describing me... its normal im sure

Reply:i like a good temper tantrum now and again
Reply:If others do it it's childish, but if I do it it's justified :-)
Reply:Its a major turnoff.

Shortly after the temper tantrum they begin to smash and throw things.
Reply:I feel the same way about adults as I do children who throw temper tantrums, I can't stand them, they are spoiled brats.
Reply:I call them Childish adults.
Reply:If they do it in public then they need to grow up. But everybody needs to let off some steam in private.

Marijuana isnt bad for you. Its only illegal because Andrew W. Mellon

(head of treasury in 1930s) was having his multibillion industry threatened(due to hemp being better than oil and many other expensive items), so he appointed his nefew, harry anslinger as head of dangerous drugs and narcotics, secret meetings were held to try to find a way to make one of THE worlds best resources out of the way. Eventually the made a movie called "reefer madness"(look it up on google video[not on youtube]). All it did was tell lies to trick the naive americans into teahing thier children not to, and so on. America has been suffering eversince. in the 1920s it was predicted that all car fuil would be run an hemp, but those greedy bastards had to go and screw up everything for america. if you realy care go to norml.org (gives many facts of benifits of marijuana + pro-legalization of marijuana)

if we ever want to make a natrual resource that was falsly accused of wrong doing we must make our voices heard

Survey: Having a dent in your car, how do you feel about it ?

Some people hate even the smallest dent in their car, others do not care too much, again others might feel it gives the car character, uniqueness or may even look cute. What are your thoughts, how do you feel about it ?

Survey: Having a dent in your car, how do you feel about it ?
Oh you dont even wanna know....driving down a street where there is a grocery store...well to get in the grocery store theres a large hill. Well as i am driving 40 miles per hour down the road past this hill to the grocery store out comes this grocery cart down the hill towards me. It slammed into the back passenger door and basically caved it in. Yeah lets just say that i am not in the least bit happy about it. And the grocery store says they wont pay for the damage because it wasnt on their property and there are signs posted for them not being responsible for carts being left un attended...well im still fighting with them over that!!!

Anyone know about a paid survey site called Survey Club?

They had a posting on Craig's List. Wondering if it's for real. They say they're free to join and pay actual money (rather than goods).

More generally: Can you make enough money to make it fun? If it takes, say, 10 hours of surveys to make $50, that's just a minimum wage job.

Anyone know about a paid survey site called Survey Club?
I actually joined this "Club" by curiosity and to help a friend a few years ago and was really disappointed. They start with a long personal questionnaire about you: income, personal situation, possessions, etc. to see what surveys you can be eligible, so they won't send you a survey on cars if you don't have one. That limits the surveys you get, but you will get some every few days. Note that some surveys are just advertisements to screen your interest and then send you to another site where you can buy...

I had some survey pay a bit of money (50cents ) into your survey club account, but it is really small money. Occasionally, you will get a survey that pays more for banks or other expensive goods, but I did not get very many, certainly not enough to make much money. Furthermore, to join that these survey clubs, you often need to pay a fee... Needless to say, I did not recover my joining fee.

As in real life, there are no free lunches on the Internet. There is a lot of free information, but some of it actually tries to sell you something later on.

In my experience, I have found two ways to make money online:

1 - Investing online. see http://www.online-investing-review.com for free resources to learn and practice with virtual money. Be careful not to trade real money before you learn and practice!

2. Write a blog or articles about a subject you know well. Eventually, you will get enough articles written to compile that into a book and sell it online. If it sells well, then you might even be able to sell it through a real editors and have it on Chapter or Amazon!

Good luck!

Does Anyone know about any good legitmate paying online survey sites?

i would like to know detais about how much the paid surveys give out per month and how much one has to work to earn like 300$ in two weeks or more?. does anybody know about sites which pay real cash in checks and which are legitimate? could you provie me the addresses of some of these websites?

Does Anyone know about any good legitmate paying online survey sites?
You aren't going to earn $300 taking online surveys. Some weeks you'll get a lot of surveys and some weeks you might not get any. I take surveys for three different companies... two of them are not accepting applicants, but my favorite one is: http://www.surveysavvy.com/ss/ss_index.p...

I got $20 for a 15 minute survey once! But usually it's $2-$5 at a time.
Reply:Pinecone research, Surveysavvy, Greenfieldonline are some of the larger survey companies, who pay regularly . A list of companies you can join for free , with details of amounts you will receive as payment, is available at http://tinyurl.com/mx9ga

What are some advantages and disadvantages about Survey Research? A method that psychologist use.?

Survey Research:

Advantages:

- quick, easy to collect and analyze, annonymous, participants are more likely to answer honestly,

Disadvantages:

- results can be skewed depending on the wording of the questions

- a broad sample needs to be taken in order to get good results representing the entire population

- questions cant be too personal or participants wont answer honestly

- questions cant be too specific or participants might not relate

Thats all i can think of!

What are some advantages and disadvantages about Survey Research? A method that psychologist use.?
LMAO, you must be taking the same class I am because I was on here looking for the same answer. Are you UOP? HRM?
Reply:Advantages:

Easy to use.

Cheap.

Disadvantages:

Accuracy. The paticipant may lie because they want to give you want you want, or they are embarrassed (or for some other reason) about being honest.

Survey: How do you feel that about the notion that.....?

...maintaining public confidence in the fairness of the tax system is vital to effective tax administration ?

I feel okay.

You?

Survey: How do you feel that about the notion that.....?
There is no fairness in the American tax system. Maintaining the status quo is unfair to those who choose to make their lives more comfortable, monetarily. If you want fairness, a flat tax on everyone's earnings, or a national consumption (sales) tax will get it done. If you want to save, no penalty. If you want to expand your business, no penalty. If you choose to live modestly, no penalty. I would call that fair.
Reply:I say yes and no, while we have to have confidence in the fairness to support it there is a select few from the country that are over this system so its hard for the mass to really do much against anything they might disagree with. The vote will go to who the public have the most confidence in also.

I feel dandy
Reply:Maintaining public confidence in the fairness of the tax system? You are kidding aren't you? There is nothing fair about it. Kevin U stated the situation very well.

Survey: On what personal experience do you base negative thoughts about another race or ethnic group?
When I first became a maintenance supervisor for a very large corporation, all of the tradesmen were gathered around the time clock waiting to punch out and go home. There was a total of 200 men in all. Each supervisor had a crew of ten men in there respective trades. I was an electrical supervisor. Since this took place up north, there was only one African American in the whole group.

All of a sudden, this black man jumps up on a tool box and says, " Hey guys, listen up! so %26amp; so (me) said I am the best n-word on his crew!" And everyone laught. Except me! He did not and never did work on my crew! The statement was completely false! The next day, after consulting with my supervisor, we confronted him and he apologised sayng he was just fooling around.

Survey? what do you think about shopping from this website? any feedback is good feedback?
shopping for home goods on a website is incredibly hard because you don't really know what you're getting: the quality, the color/finish, and the size. sure they give dimensions, but the rest is still up in the air. I highly recommend only shopping at online sources if they also have a freestanding physical store or department inside another store, so you know and trust the brand/company. See if you can find a TJ Maxx Home Goods store in your area, they have plenty of bargain and pretty decent quality furnishings, and you can take them home right away!

Survey!!!!?

Hi! I have to make an online survey on everyone's opinion about body modification.

Here are the choices:

1) Breast augmentation

2) Tattoo

3) Body / Ear Piercing (state which piercings would you like/do you have)

4) Plastic surgery (which part of your body)

5) Neck elongation

6) Foot binding

Pick out which one have you done/ planning to have. And also state out your nationalities.

Thanks! This is for my project in school :)

Survey!!!!?
1. Unnecessary. And if you do get breast augmentation make sure that they look right for your frame. Do not go the Dolly Parton/Pamela Anderson route. The biggest you should get is a C. If you're already a C, you do not need bigger breasts!

2. It's a personal choice. Personally I want to get a tattoo but a small one. Do not get them all over your body. It's ridiculous.

3. Go for it. I like any kind of piercing as long as you wear them in moderation. You can wear as many in the ears as you want. BUT, if you have your eyebrow, nose, lip, or anything else on your face dont wear them all at the same time. Instead, wear the eyebrow ring and lip ring one day and the nose ring and lip ring another.

4. Stay away from the face!! You can change something you dont like about youself, but do not go overboard! Theyre have been so many pretty/beautiful women who have gotten way too much lifts and botox and implants in their face it's ridiculous.

5. It's a personal choce. Long necks are attractive, but too long makes you look just out of proportion.

6. I think it's stupid. You are damaging your bone development when you bind your feet to make them small.

I did not read that you had to pick which one you are have done or are planning to have done. I want a few SMALL tattoos. I really want my boyfriends name tattooed on my wrist. I had my nose/belly button pierced that my nose ring ripped out (it was the one where it had a little ball at the end..it hurt) and my belly button got infected. In the future I would like my nose and bellybutton pierced, plus I want to pierce my eyebrow and lip.

I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

my cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast Enhancement, facelift, liposuction through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company.

Plastic surgery is something that I've never really understood. Why people want to change their looks permanently.... I cannot wrap my head around it! Does that make me a a hypocrite for wanting a reduction? My boobs are too big and they cause a lot of pain! I think of it as reconstructive, not cosmetic. And I'm a white chick.

What Internet web site will allow me to take a survey about complaints of a specific insurance company?

If you have a complaint about an insurer, the best thing to do is file a complaint with your state's insurance commissioner. Not only do many of them post their complaint data on their web site for all to see, but this information is also reported to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), which may urge multi-state action if one state receives a multitude of complaints on a particular issue.

The BBB cannot help, since it doesn't regulate the business of insurance. Should you contact the BBB, it will refer you to your state insurance commissioner's office.

Has anyone heard of Survey-Co, Inc.? What about Consumer Survey Specialists?

They are supposedly work from home companies, but I can't find any information about them!?

Has anyone heard of Survey-Co, Inc.? What about Consumer Survey Specialists?
I know, you’ve heard it a thousand times “Make millions working from home”, we all know that’s total crap or everyone would be doing it. The honest truth is that you can make money from home, but it’s not going to make you instantly rich. There are lots of places online that promise you the moon for $49.99. I was the dummy trying those places for a while. Now I’m a little older and a little wiser. I have searched for the better part of a year and come up with some truly free, truly legitimate websites where you can earn some honest money. Last month I made $1569 by using just 2 places. I even won a contest on one site that paid me an extra $100. So if you’re also searching or just curious, go to http://shrinkify.com/9k3 to see my list of what I’ve done. It’s free, it’s easy, you don’t have anything to lose. Also, you wont get an overload of ads and junk, just simple information.
Reply:I can tell you from personal experience that these survey companies don't work. I tried at two different times to make it work and all that happened is I wound up spending money on things to get other things for free and I spent 5+ hours on the computer every day. The whole idea was to make money filling out quick surveys. Truth is if you're looking to work at home, I found you'll either have to take courses for medical billing, or medical transcription and even then you'll need to work in the doctors office for a while before they let you work from home. You could also be a customer service representative for various companies, or become a telemarketer, however you wont earn a lucrative income. It really depends on what you're looking for. I originally wanted to work a job at home, but found nothing that worked. It was then that I found out if I wanted the freedom to work when I wanted and earn a substantial income to become financially free, then a home based business is the answer. I work from home as an independant representative with a legitimate company. Yes, I do get paid! With most home based businesses there is an investment. See, that's what confuses everbody. You're not paying to work for a company, you are investing in your own business. It's like if you were to open a coffee shop, you'd have an investment only that investment is much, much higher. With home based businesses the investment ranges from around $100 all the way up to $20,000+. If you are looking for just a employee - employer relationship, NEVER EVER PAY ANYTHING! If a home based business is something you are interested in, I would shop around for a legitimate company where your investment is on the lower side. Do your homework! Just make sure you are willing to work, cause if you're not you're not going to make any money. These are serious businesses and they only want people who are going to actually work. There is no point in wasting your time or your business associates time. These are not get rich quick schemes either. Although you can earn a huge income, it takes a little time to build. You can actually earn millions, but it's not overnight. Depending on the company and the products or services and the compensation plan, you can actually earn a six figure+ income in as little as 1-4 years. If you need further advice feel free to contact me. I'll tell you the truth about what works and doesn't work. You can email me at aprilbatol73@yahoo.com. I wish you the best in your search.

What is Quantity Survey all about ?

I HAVE A WEEKLY INTERVIEW PROGRAMME FOR QUANTITY SURVEYORS,SO I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT QUANTITY SURVEY IS ALL ABOUT.

What is Quantity Survey all about ?
#Quantity Surveying:

Quantity Surveyors play a key role in the organisation and financial management of construction projects. In essence they manage projects to ensure that they are built on time and to budget. Their job is to manage costs effectively and to ensure that they get the best value from contractors and suppliers. This involves obtaining tenders, arranging contracts and managing costs for the client while the works are undertaken. It is also their job to negotiate with the client's representative on payments and the final settlement. Quantity Surveyors deal with other professionals within their company as well as clients out-with the organisation.

It is an extremely diverse area and can include project management, facility management, construction management and management consultancy.

#A Quantity Surveyor (QS) is a professional person working within the construction industry. The role of the QS is, in general terms, to manage and control costs within construction projects and may involve the use of a range of management procedures and technical tools to achieve this goal.

The profession developed during the 19th century from the earlier "Measurer", a specialist tradesman (often a guild member), who prepared standardised schedules for a building project in which all of the construction materials, labour activities and the like were quantified and against which competing builders could submit priced tenders. Because the tenders were each based on the same schedule of information, they would be easily compared to find the most suitable candidate.

The professional institution with which most English-speaking Quantity Surveyors are affiliated is the UK based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).

Although all QSs will have followed a similar course of education and training (for those entering the profession today, this is usually to degree level), there are many areas of specialisation in which a QS may concentrate. The main distinction amongst QSs is between:

Those who carry out work on behalf of a client organisation: often known as a "Private Quantity Surveyor", "Private QS" or "PQS".

Those who work for construction companies: often known as a "Contractor's Quantity Surveyor".

Question about those survey sites or other online sites where you "make money"?

Does anyone know of any survey sites where you don't have to pay the site to take their surveys? Or does anyone know of some work at home site that is legit, will work for a college student, and isnt going to ask you to pay them to work for them?

I keep getting all these emails from sites saying make money by taking surveys, etc. Yeah if you pay them first, then there is no telling if you'll ever see that money again. So some kind of free survey site or something that will actually pay for opinions.

Job opportunities in my state are rather dry without four year degrees.

Question about those survey sites or other online sites where you "make money"?
Theres a lot of "free survey" sites out there most of them work on a point system and it takes a ridiculously long time to earn any cash. You could spend 50+ hours taking surveys to earn a lousy $10. Here are a few that I find do actually give you surveys for cash.

https://www.mindfieldonline.com/member.p...

http://www.myview.com/

http://www.greenfieldcentral.com/

www.pineconeresearch.com

Each of thses sites work a little differently. Mindfeild is a product testing site. They haven't ever paid me but I do get quite a few products to test from them. And I get to keep those products.

Myveiw pays $2 per survey. They pay through paypal and regularly. Its the site ive made the most cash from so far.

Greenfield only occasionally pays cash. They will state that the survey pays cash when they send it. Most surveys they send out reward you with a contest entry. They are slow to pay.

Pinecone is a hard one to get signed up with. You have to find a recruiting banner and follow the link to sign up. Its not easy to find one but if you do they pay $5 per survey and they pay regularly and they pay fast.

Be forewarned these bring in a little bit of extra income but they will not earn you a living.
Reply:I am looking at the same thing. I will let you know what I find. You can also email me and I will let you in on what I have found so far
Reply:Who does not like some extra cash in hand? What about when that 'extra cash' comes relatively easy, with the least of exertion? What about when that extra cash comes to you right in your home, without having you to move to any other place?

You guessed right! I am talking about home business. There are a great number of home businesses with the advent of the Internet. Many people are drawing a decent income from such endeavors. Each one of us is tempted to try out some of these offers, because they sound so easy and within our reach, that we feel we would miss out on a great opportunity if do not try it out. The temptation is even harder to fight when we are in dire need for cash.

I got hooked on the idea, when I had lost my job two years ago. I had more than 16 years' seniority and never expected to get the axe. My heart was broken; but what hurt the most was that I had, all-of-a-sudden, to cut and curtail on each every expense. I was faced with an acute emotional and financial poverty.

It was at this time that, one day while idling over my computer, I clicked on a link - which I think mentioned cash from home - and I was hooked. At first I was overwhelmed at the variety and diversity of the Internet income opportunity. I found a multitude of offers ranging from data typing, to freelancing; from web designing to copy writing . to the one of the most lucrative options, paid surveys.

Taking paid surveys is an extremely convenient and easy way to earn cash online. I can see the interest growing in your eyes. What are online paid surveys, you will ask?

That is exactly what I was asking two years ago when I rediscovered the meaning of earning at my convenience! Let me start at the most important part. Money! How much can you make with online paid surveys? Will you believe when I tell you that you can make anything between $1 and $150 per survey?

They say that the difference between real and fiction is that fiction needs to make sense!! This is really applicable to making money with online surveys. It does not really make sense, but it is there life-size and true! But do not take my word for it. You go out there and just type 'online paid surveys' in the browser line and see what comes out of it. Try a few and just get the feel of it and see how easy is to fill in a survey.

The online surveys are just simple questionnaires which require certain information or opinions from you. These feedback are analyzed by the companies who send you the surveys and the information thus obtained go to form the future product strategy of that company, be it marketing, production, content, correction, etc.

The next logical question you would ask is why the companies would pay people to do surveys. Companies need access to information regarding the reaction of the public on the products they promote. In order to get this information they do extensive market research studies which are expensive and sometimes not reliable - when the data can be manufactured. Paid online surveys give these companies direct access to the public. The payment is calculated based on the importance of the product and the difficulty the company has to gain serious insights on it. Hence, online surveys are a healthy business proposition for the companies.

You could, as I could, build a good reliable source of income with online surveys. There are a few tips that you should keeping mind however, so you do not run into headaches.

Seek those companies that have a good feedback on the Internet; in order to find what others think of it, run a search on the name of the company asking for review or comments. Invariably, the net will throw up sufficient feedback for you to get a good idea about the company;

Remember - this type of work is just like any other work, even if it requires less mental and physical effort. Completing online surveys require patience and persistence if you want to earn a significant amount;

Another trick is to get your name enlisted in as many companies as possible. Logically speaking, even if you have only $5 surveys - which usually take anything between 20-25 minutes max (this also depends upon the speed of your browser) - and you have 4-5 per day, you could earn a very tidy sum;
Reply:Yeah...you never want to sign up for anything you get through un-solicited mail. Even if they claim to be from a legit site, they may be someone else pretending to be that site to get your info (a phishing scene).

There are some legitimate sites out there though. Taking survey just earns you some pizza money (I earn about $20 a month) not salaray or "pay your tuition" amounts.

If pizza money is fine for you, I've reviewed most of the sites I've been payed through here:

http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys

And I've put tips on how to avoid survey scams (too many of them out there!) here:

http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys/avoi...

If you are artistic at all, or can think of some funny sayings to put on t-shirts and mugs and stuff, another free business you can do from home is selling your designs at places like www.cafepress.com or www.printfection.com . (You can probably use Adobe photoshop at your college for free--so you have that going for you). It's fairly easy to set up--but if you really want to succeed it takes a lot of work and commitment. It can take 6 months to a year for your first sale (or not...sometimes less...sometimes a design becomes popular and you sell a lot right away--you never know). But I do know people who make a full time living doing that.

Reply:It's all a scam. Get out and get a real job. By the way, a real job is something that you can put on your resume after you graduate that would enhance your chances of landing a post college professional role.

I am doing a survey for school about baots. What is your favorite kind of boat???

I have to do a survey for school and I need to have 50 people answer. All I need to know is what is your favorite kind of boat and why!!!

I am doing a survey for school about baots. What is your favorite kind of boat???
A benetea sloop (sailboat) would be a dream to own for a home on the water. They have beautiful lines, beautiful accommodations and are well built. My other favorite boat (ship) were the LNG carriers going to Japan. Large cabins, a large enough deck to bike around, a pool, thousands of movies, good food, two weight rooms, good pay, great ports in Japan and Indonesia.
Reply:Power boat of course!!!
Reply:A 16' aluminum v hull. It is big enough for 3 people to fish out of and will take some decent waves. It is also small enough to get in and out of many boat landings that are unimproved. Light yet durable and easy to maintain, that is the boat for me.
Reply:Drag boats! Fast and furious on the water...can anything beat that?
Reply:the door that i floated to this country on. that is good boat.
Reply:My 30 foot Rinker Cruiser, Been on aboard her "a boat is a she" for hundreds of hrs. Many many miles and she has never let me down. Traveled a lot on the Erie Canal In NYS. There is a lot of history on the Erie canal and my memories
Reply:Racing boat. They go as fast as cars and engines bigger than most normal cars. They sound awesome and are lots of fun to watch!
Reply:Carl Alberg 30 Sloop , its a sailboat.
Reply:Sailboats ae best. We have 3. 30 foot cruising boat, 19 foot racing sailboat and 10 foot sailing dinghy.
Reply:hi ! i own a 17.5 foot bayliner open bow with a 135 hp. stern drive mercruiser engine. it s my favorite cause its easy to handle, goes over 40 mph and is inexpensive to run and own. i live near the chesapeake bay in md
Reply:J-44, the best mix of racing and cruising and racing a sailboat has to offer. What a beautiful boat.
Reply:"BOSTON WHALER"

A Boston whaler Ain't Gonna SINK ! thats some mighty important information, that ya got, RIGHT THERE !
Reply:Most peoples favorite boat is the one they own now or the one they wish they owned. As for me, my current favorite is my IOR design 1982 Catalina 38. My previous favorite was my Wilderness 30' racer/cruiser. Prior to that it was my 19' 600hp jet boat. My dream favorite is a 70' custom built ketch rigged cruiser that just came on the market . The only problem is the nearly $700,000.00 price tag.

So ... You choose which ever one is a favorite .... I wish I could have kept them all !!!!
Reply:Nitro Tracker Bass boat Z-9 with a big whopping 300 hp engine! I love fishing and I like to go FAST!!!
Reply:Wellcraft Scarab.
Reply:A pontoon boat! They are a floating party. They are also becoming more a sporting boat these days with bigger motors and technological advances. Fast, slow, docked, I love toonin!
Reply:Favourite boat?

My boat!

We're about to do it again AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING.

Why?

Being on land just sucks!

Land is stifling, restricting, full of petty rules, CCTV everywhere, ignorant people, uneducated people, rude people, blind people who can't see past their TV's....

Land is for people who need permission to live, or at least they act like it.

That's why
Reply:A yacht! They are so fun to party on and a very awesome
Reply:Sailboat! Sailing gives you the real feel of the water, a real connection. Sailboats aren't the easiest boats to maneuver, but the reward of sailing is the best.

Does anybody know about surveys? because I really need help with my survey.?

I need survey busines groups, churches, organizations, senior citzens, and ect in my community about how they view our school district. Also what value do they derive from supporting the school district.

I don't know what questions to ask.

What questions should i ask on my survey????

Does anybody know about surveys? because I really need help with my survey.?
Good questions would be.

What do you like about our school district?

What are your dislikes about the school district?

What could we do to improve it?

Do you have any personal experinces with the school district? If so was it a good or bad experince.

This would be a good start!

Survey about families and kitchen time?

Hello, I am working on a graduate thesis involving families in the kitchen. The following survey will take about 10 minutes, and all answers are private. The results will be used to design kitchen tools that make it easier for children to participate in the kitchen, as well as generally involving them more in the cooking process. Your time is greatly appreciated and responses from people of all different countries and cultures are welcome (and very helpful) if you care to forward the survey accordingly.

Thank you so much!

Survey: How do you feel about girls with mustaches?
A little tickle on your pickle?
Reply:They're generally much keener on the physical side of a relationship because they've got higher levels of testosterone and are generally more masculine.

Guys really into the physical side of a relationship will therefore go for a girl with a moustache. However, as a general rule it's true to say that

"Whilst a very large clit is always a hit,

the growth of a beard is much to be feared

for few men make passes at girls with moustaches

and with her on her chin, a girl just can't win."
Reply:True story: A woman from church kept throwing herself at me and she was very nice, so we ended up dating. She had a wicked mustache and I finally told her it was not working for me. Her family told her to break up with me.

Seriously, it was so bad that my friends referred to her as "Fuzzy."

Whatever happened to grooming?
Reply:gross

I have no issue with gays and lesbians, and even if a girl wants to be a man, but if they are a girl they should not have a mustache.

Are these sales ads about Google adword and survey earnings real or hype?

I will love to go into some form of home internet business but will want nothing that involve writing or sending sales letters to anyone,so am investigating google adword and survey taking but am skeptical about the genuiness of all the claimes from sales newsletters flying around,so will want to know if anyone had honestly been involve with these ventures and if there is a way of starting without parting with cash to these sale letters promising to make me milloins overnight.

Are these sales ads about Google adword and survey earnings real or hype?
Hello,

Do not fall prey to those sales letters. Everything you need is provided by Google wherre you will find a plethora of information.

I use Google AdSense on my pages.

There are two kinds of Google ads: AdSense and AdWords.

AdSense ads are placed on your website by Google based on the content and keywords they find on each page of your website. First, you go to Google and sign up for Google AdSense. It's free to sign up and once you have a website, you select the thpe of ad you want to place on your pages, copy the code (usually Javascript) and paste that code into you web page. There are many type of ads: horizontal, vertical, square, etc. The ads can be either just text or banners.

How do you make money? Every time someone clicks on an AdSense ad on one of your pages, you make money just for the click. They do not have to buy anything for you to make money.

The other form of ad is AdWords. These cost you money. You can set up an account for as little as $5.00. You bid on keywords related to the content of your website. Some of these cost $.10 a click. So every time you get a click, it cost you $.10. You can set a limit on how much you want to spend, say $10.00 a month. Then when the click rate goes to $10.00 in a month, the ad is removed by Google.

You have to create the ad yourself and you are limited to 4 lines. The first line is the title which must be 25 character or less, then there are 2 lines of text which must be 35 characters or less and finally your URL.
