I am doing a survey for school about baots. What is your favorite kind of boat???

I have to do a survey for school and I need to have 50 people answer. All I need to know is what is your favorite kind of boat and why!!!

A benetea sloop (sailboat) would be a dream to own for a home on the water. They have beautiful lines, beautiful accommodations and are well built. My other favorite boat (ship) were the LNG carriers going to Japan. Large cabins, a large enough deck to bike around, a pool, thousands of movies, good food, two weight rooms, good pay, great ports in Japan and Indonesia.

Reply:A 16' aluminum v hull. It is big enough for 3 people to fish out of and will take some decent waves. It is also small enough to get in and out of many boat landings that are unimproved. Light yet durable and easy to maintain, that is the boat for me.

Reply:My 30 foot Rinker Cruiser, Been on aboard her "a boat is a she" for hundreds of hrs. Many many miles and she has never let me down. Traveled a lot on the Erie Canal In NYS. There is a lot of history on the Erie canal and my memories
Reply:Racing boat. They go as fast as cars and engines bigger than most normal cars. They sound awesome and are lots of fun to watch!

Reply:hi ! i own a 17.5 foot bayliner open bow with a 135 hp. stern drive mercruiser engine. it s my favorite cause its easy to handle, goes over 40 mph and is inexpensive to run and own. i live near the chesapeake bay in md

Reply:Most peoples favorite boat is the one they own now or the one they wish they owned. As for me, my current favorite is my IOR design 1982 Catalina 38. My previous favorite was my Wilderness 30' racer/cruiser. Prior to that it was my 19' 600hp jet boat. My dream favorite is a 70' custom built ketch rigged cruiser that just came on the market . The only problem is the nearly $700,000.00 price tag.


So ... You choose which ever one is a favorite .... I wish I could have kept them all !!!!

Reply:A pontoon boat! They are a floating party. They are also becoming more a sporting boat these days with bigger motors and technological advances. Fast, slow, docked, I love toonin!

She's a Hartley 39. Ferro cement hull, long keel, cutter rigged sloop. She has taken me around the world twice and looked after me in conditions that people wouldn't believe. I sail alone.


We're about to do it again AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING.


Why?


Being on land just sucks!


Land is stifling, restricting, full of petty rules, CCTV everywhere, ignorant people, uneducated people, rude people, blind people who can't see past their TV's....


Land is for people who need permission to live, or at least they act like it.

Reply:Sailboat! Sailing gives you the real feel of the water, a real connection. Sailboats aren't the easiest boats to maneuver, but the reward of sailing is the best.
